Remote Learning Announcement

      Dear Parents/Guardians,

      I hope this letter finds you and your family well. Information about the COVID-19 situation changes daily and it impacts our lives greatly. As we plan for educating of our students for the 2020 – 2021 school year, I want you to know that we considered many options. Because the safety of our students is paramount, we feel that Remote Learning for our students is the best option, in order to keep all individuals safe. We thank those of you who completed the surveys via telephone and online. Your input was invaluable and helped us to reach our decision for Remote Learning.

      Over the next few weeks, you will receive a call from the district to check on your family. In particular, we will ask you about Internet connectivity and available technology at your home.  We want to ensure that all students have the necessary connectivity to participate in Remote Learning. We will be sharing information with you on how parents and students will interact with their schools and teachers. Additionally, you will receive information regarding Zoom Meetings that will be scheduled by the district and your child’s school. During the meetings, you will be provided information regarding the next steps as we prepare to begin the school year.       Espero que esta carta le encuentre bien a usted y a su familia. La información sobre la situación de COVID-19 cambia diariamente y afecta en gran medida nuestras vidas. Mientras planeamos educar a nuestros estudiantes para el año escolar 2020-2021, quiero que sepan que hemos considerado muchas opciones. Debido a que la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es primordial, creemos que el Aprendizaje Remoto para nuestros estudiantes es la mejor opción, y así mantener la seguridad de todos. Agradecemos a aquellos que completaron las encuestas por teléfono y en línea. Su aporte fue invaluable y nos ayudó a tomar la decisión para el Aprendizaje Remoto.

      Durante las próximas semanas, recibirá una llamada del distrito para verificar a su familia.
