The Operations Department supports Burr Oak Academy, Burr Oak Elementary, Calumet Middle School, and the District Office with the primary responsibility of ensuring that schools are safe, clean, and functional so that teachers and site-level administration can focus on instruction.
The department provides leadership and oversight of assigned services and programs, Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Currently, the Director of Operations oversees all areas listed below and any other tasks or duties assigned by the District Superintendent. The role also involves managing and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations in relation to Operations.
