Welcome to our Online Registration process. This portal will allow new families to register students online throughout the year. To access the portal, please use the New Student Online Registration 2024-2025 link, which is also located in the menu to the left.

  • You will be able to upload the required documents and complete/submit the online registration packet.
  • Then you will be redirected to the Skyward Enrollment portal to register for a Student/Family account where you will
    • complete all family contact information and
    • sign consent forms for your child's prospective school.

The entire process may take between 25-30mins using a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Keeping our community and staff safe, our online registration allows for a no-contact option. You can also schedule an appointment with the school secretary if you need any help. 

Online Registration is open 24hrs/7 days a week.

Please Note: This registration is not mobile friendly. You MUST complete this on a desktop or laptop computer.  


Step 1

For immediate enrollment due to those students of homeless status, please contact our FACE Manager at ewashington@sd132.org. 

Please click this link to start Step I of the registration process  (Step 1 of the registration process will allow you to upload all of your required documents. Please make sure to have them already uploaded into your mobile device or save on your computer.)

New Student Registration Required Documents Instructions. Please Read!

Our online registration process requires uploading documents through our electronic portal. You will need to prepare all of your documents saved in your photo gallery if you are using a mobile device, or stored in a folder if you are using your computer. The checklist below can help you with what to save. 

New students are required to provide a government-issued ID and 3 proofs of residency along with the following documents:

  • Original Birth Certificate 
  • Custodial Parent - Proof of custody is required. (Legal Custody Order) - If applicable
  • Divorced parents must have a divorce decree indicating who has physical custody.
  • Foster Child - Must provide a CFS 906-1 E Placement form 
  • Illinois State Board of Education, ISBE Student Transfer/ Exit Form (if applicable)
  • IEP or 504 Plan Special Education Services (If applicable)
  • Physical Examination (All new students or any student new to the state of Illinois are required to submit a current-year physical exam with up-to-date immunizations). You must submit both sides of the form, signed. 
  • Dental Examination All students entering grades Pre-K-8th are required to submit a dental exam. 
  • Vision Examination (All students enrolling in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or any student new to the state of Illinois are required to submit a current-year Vision Exam)

Please complete all the sections in this form. You will not be able to move to the next section if you do not complete all the required fields. 

 

Please complete the following paperwork and either upload it into Aspen when you are finalizing the online application, as once you click submit you cannot go back in and upload documents OR you can make an appointment with the school secretary to drop of at your child's respective school. 

Glossary

  • Original or copy of Child's Birth Certificate 
  • Physical Exam and Immunization Record - Please bring a copy of your child's most recent physical exam and their immunization record. 
  • Proof of Residency
  • Photocopy of Drivers' License or Government Issued Photo ID
  • Any legal documentation regarding custody, etc.

If your child is transferring to the Calumet Public School District 132,  requires a Release of Records page 1 of the uploads form:

  • The previous school will be contacted provide your child's school with the following information:
    • Academic Testing Results, including any State Standardized Test Scores
    • Academic Transcript and/or Report Card
    • Attendance for most current school year
    • Discipline Report, if none a letter stating such
    • Guidance, Adjustment Counselor, and/or Social Worker Reports
    • Health Records
    • Individual Education Plan (IEP), and/or 504 Plan ( Parent is able to upload either or both of these in page 2 of the uploads form.
    • Special Education Evaluations: Educational, Psychological, Related Services, etc.
    • Special Education Progress Reports

Step 2 

If you are new to Skyward but have student(s) in district you must choose option 2 after you select "Request an Account".  If you already have an Aspen account with the Calumet Public School District 132 but do not recall your login credentials please contact help@sd132.org and theywill assist you by emailing a password reset link.

You are then going to select "I am a parent/guardian registering my child online". You will then complete that quick form. 

Once you complete the Account Setup you will directed to the Aspen Homepage. Once here you will click the button that says "+ Initiate" under the "Start a New Student Registration" section. This will bring you to the Online Registration Form. 

 

After all the required documents have been uploaded or or submitted to the school office, and the registration team has processed your application the school will then reach out with next steps.
